Follow Friday: Hear Our Voice Kenya/Chris Rhys Howarth

Chris is running 1100miles across Kenya from Busia on the Ugandan border to Mombassa on the Indian Ocean. This is an incredible feat-not just because of what he’s doing but where he’s doing it and why. Kenya is a stunning country that I fell in love with whilst recovering from a crash in 2006. It alive with people and wildlife and is incredibly friendly. Recently they’ve had a few problems but in my mind this is still one of my favourite countries in Africa.

Chris is running for Hear Our Voice which is an educational project which works with children who are provided with a creative, safe, expressive and educational environment in which to learn new skills and share with other young people their experiences on the streets and in abusive homes and relationships.
