Dan Martin is part athlete, part adventurer, part charitable machine.

Dan does all of his adventures in the name of his charity, the Dan Martin Foundation.

The Dan Martin Foundation, is a charity specifically designed to help under-privileged children around the globe. The Foundation is focussed on providing education in the remotest parts of the developing world.

I like to think that I'm big and tough, but I'm a big softy underneath and I really struggle to distance myself from the poverty and hardship that's all around me on these trips. We've got to help these guys out, especially the kids, just a few quid makes a huge difference.
