Thursday Thriller: Wet and Wild!

This week’s Thursday Thriller is all about getting wet and wild. The first video may look to the average viewer like a man failing to commit suicide over a 189ft high waterfall-but it’s not. It’s Tyler Bradt pushing back the boundaries of what’s possible in a kayak (and breaking his wrist and ribs!). The second video may also look like a masochists dream as it’s all about a man swimming with jellyfish. These jellyfish however are special-they don’t sting and they live in an isolated body of salt water on Eli Malk Island in the Republic of Palau.

Wet and Wild I:

Wet and Wild II:

Does anyone fancy snorkelling with thousands of jellyfish in a lake that below 50ft contains lethal levels of hydrogen sulphide? Palau is the place for you.

If you think you can’t kayak off waterfalls or swim with jellys, or maybe you think you’re not brave enough or tough enough-then this kid disagrees:

I would follow that kid into battle anyday.
