I first heard of free diving in Egypt when having a few beers in Dahab with some divers. They described it as cheating and as poor man’s diving but then went on to wax lyrical about how deep these guys can go and the things they do. I did some diving in Thailand when I was young but don’t think I got any deeper than 18metres-these guys go way deeper!

Below are two videos of free diving. One is a stunning free diving BASE jump and the other is phenomenally deep!
